I was inspired to create this design from a poem written by my mother-in-law, Bethanne Ragaglia. The poem on the back of the shirt reads, "Upon the horse the girl was lost, in a pounding, surging beat not felt upon her own two feet." Her poem reminded me of when I was younger, pretending that I was a horse galloping through the woods. I felt such freedom and excitement. I hope that this shirt will also inspire other horse-crazy girls (and their mothers too!) to really connect with their inner heartbeat.....hoofbeat.
